Tourism for school

Starting from school year 2015-2016, many new ideas are coming up aiming at promoting history, architecture and culture in Como.
Following the experience of Scuola-Museo (School-Museum), educational activities are growing. Since the 80's, municipal museums in Como are counting on external resources.  
Milan company Aster, partner of municipal museums since long ago, is helping propose new ways addressed to a diverse audience, pupils and adults, helping them in the educational role that cultural institutions now have to take account of.
The aim of new project ScuolaCultura (SchoolCulture) is the spread of culture thanks to educational activities addressed to diverse people: workshops, guided tours to municipal museums and, since this year, to Como library and other culture places such as Villa Olmo, Spazio Ratti, San Pietro in Atrio, Broletto, Chiostrino di Sant’Eufemia e Monumento ai Caduti. 
New activities are also thought within the connection between protection and valorisation of culture heritage.

Aster s.r.l. is managing all activites 2015/2016 at municipal museums, library and culture spaces ruled by the culture, museum, library and tourism office.
