Como around the Duomo is a wallking tour through the centuries: from the oldest history of St.Giacomo’s church it goes on through Broletto Palace of the Middle-Age, the gothic-renaissance-baroque Cathedral, till the Sociale Theatre of the 19th century. But it’s not finished: because if we direct our gaze to Brunate and then we lower it to Casa del Fascio we’ll reach the 20th century.
Architectures, different styles, wars of power, religion, art, music, symbolism of 8 centuries are all included in a very small perimeter.

Como attorno al Duomo è una passeggiata che spazia nei secoli: dalla storia più antica della chiesa di San Giacomo, al Broletto medioevale, alla Cattedrale gotica-rinascimentale-barocca fino al Teatro Sociale ottocentesco. Ma non è finita qui, perché alzando lo sguardo a Brunate e abbassandolo fino alla Casa del Fascio arriviamo al 1900.
In un perimetro davvero piccolo sono racchiusi 8 secoli di architetture, stili differenti, lotte di potere, religione, arte, musica e simbologia…
