Beaches in Como
If you are looking for a summer swim in Como city you have a few options to choose from. There are two beaches in town, one is at the Lido di Villa Olmo, just a few steps away from the beautiful Villa, this lido includes a beach, a large meadow and two swimming pools. Bring a swimming cap to enter the pool.
The other public beach is at the Lido di Villa Geno, it includes a small kids pool and a large meadow by the water. Admission fees required.

Villa Olmo: Beach is open everyday from 9am to 7.00pm, the swimming pool from 10am to 6.30pm; the Beach Bar is open Monday to Thursday from 9am to 9.00pm, Friday and Saturday from 9am to 10.00pm, Sunday from 9am to 9.00pm.

As for Como city, swimming in the Lake is only allowed at the Villa Olmo Lido.
