Parsons Dance is an American dance company known by diverse audiences for its energized and athletic dance that radiates a joy of living and soon it will come back to Italy.

Founded by the creative genius and choreographer David Parsons and by the light designer Howell Binkley, Parsons Dance is one of the few dance companies that, besides its established and renewed success on the international scene, has managed to leave a lasting mark on the theatre audience and to create real choreographies that are now considered real “cult” in the dance sector throughout the world.

Parsons Dance perfectly embodies the explosive force of an energized, positive, acrobatic and, at the same time, communicative dance. It is now a cornerstone of postmodern dance coming from the United States. This kind of dance can mix, without fear, techniques and styles to achieve magical, theatrical, funny and creative effects. During the 2017 Italian tour, the audience will enjoy the popular and highly sought-after Caught (song created by David Parsons for himself in 1982). It is an amazing solo with music by Robert Fripp, in which the dancer seems to be suspended in the air with stroboscopic light effects. Together with this hit and other Parsons Dance classical pieces, the dance company will have the honor of presenting in Italy, as European preview, other two original songs, which will surely fascinate the Italian audience.
