After the great successes of the previous editions, the Como Lake Burlesque Festival is back. The third weekend of September, Como will be transformed: a vintage atmosphere will take hold of the city, with wit, glamour, and seduction, hosting the sixth edition of the international burlesque festival.

Things kick off on Thursday, 12 September with the ‘Great Opening Party’, brought to life by the girls of the Champagne Academy of Burlesque Education, and the opening show, with acts featuring international performers; in the evening, you can go wild on the dance floor to the beat of surf music and rock n ‘roll, thanks to the music selection of our vintage DJ Norma Midnight Motel.

On Saturday the 14th, performers from all over the world will compete to win the title of ‘Queen of the Lake’. The competition will be held at the Spazio Gloria where, on the same night, the ‘Vintage Party’ will take place to the rhythm of swing and electroswing.

During the four days of the festival, the city will host numerous events in collaboration with downtown shops, bars, and clubs.

This year as in others, the festival boasts prestigious collaborations; the members of the jury will be Kitten De Ville, the very famous Queen of Burlesque, American star Grace Gotham, winner of the title ‘Queen of the Lake 2016’, and Italian boylesquer Alan De Bevoise. Featured onstage as well will be the Italian Miss Sophie Champagne, performer and producer of the festival.

Stefano Annoni, actor and Como native, will present the festival.
